Speedrun mode is a game mode in BFDI: Branches making it easier for players to speedrun the game's Story mode. Speedrun mode is accessed by holding down the run key (Shift by default) and selecting on the "Speedrun" button as it replaces the "Story" button on the game's Title Screen. Speedrun mode plays every level in order while skipping the title cards and level select menu in between levels, and shows the player their total in-game time after completing the game.
In the BFDI: Branches Discord, there are several channels dedicated to speedrunning.
