Profile pictures (PFPs) are icons that can currently be obtained in BFDI: Branches, either by purchase from Gelatin's Shop or from unlocks. Players can unlock some profile pictures from achievements, which are awarded to players after they complete certain tasks or partake in certain events. Once unlocked, they can be displayed on the user's profile. Profile pictures come in two layers, both of which can be chosen by the player: foregrounds and backgrounds. Foregrounds are icons with transparency, and backgrounds are opaque icons that are layered behind the foreground.
